Haha. Maybe I should’ve just put it up beside his. That way, if I go out again, I’m taking him with me.
That base piece looks like plastic. Cut a hole in it and fill it with cement after you plant it. The next car that hits it will be sorry and you’ll be laughing.
Good idea Aaron. I despise people that run over mailboxes and don’t even have the courtesy to leave a note. Although, by looking at the tracks in our ditch, I’m sure they did not escape the incident without any damage to their car. Serves them right!
You know, we just got the plastic base because it was the cheapest. But, had it been metal, like our previous one, we would have to replace it. All I had to do with the plastic one is put it back in the ground.
There’s something to be said for the cheap plastic versions.
Even easier, fill it with sand. I bet it would survive the hit and do some nice damage.
